Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 regarding the handling of personal information received from a job application.
The information that is provided or obtained by Stanwell about you in a job application will be retained for a period of five years. It will only be used to assess you for the position/s that you have nominated, unless you are approached by Employee Relations and grant your permission to access your information for a comparable position within 12 months of receipt of your initial application. If the latter occurs, an opportunity will be provided to update the information held. This information will be stored in a secure location and will be disposed of by secure means within five years of receipt.
