Cooperative Research Centre for Coal in Sustainable Development
CCSD's goal is to optimise the contribution of coal to a sustainable future. The CRC will provide solutions and pathways for coal in sustainable development through collaborative and responsive research focusing on utilisation and by-products, and related synergistic research opportunities in other coal chain areas. Stanwell is an industry supporter of the CRC.

Cooperative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies
The CO2CRC will research the logistic, technical, financial and environmental issues of storing industrial carbon dioxide emissions in deep geological formations. The CRC will research the capture and separation of carbon dioxide from industrial systems as well as geological storage. Stanwell is an industry partner in this CRC.

National Electricity Market Management Company (NEMMCO)
NEMMCO is responsible for the administration and operation of the wholesale national electricity market in accordance with the National Electricity Code. The aim of the National Electricity Market Management Company is to provide an effective infrastructure for the efficient operation of the wholesale national electricity market.

Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator
ORER is a statutory authority established to oversee the implementation of the government's mandatory renewable energy target. Site includes access to relevant legislation, including Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000.

ZeroGen
ZeroGen is a world-first demonstration project investigating the viability of integrating coal-based gasification and carbon capture and storage (CCS) to produce low emission baseload electricity. Stanwell is the primary contractor to the ZeroGen project and is responsible for the management of the project, in conjunction with external advisors.
