Our Operations team plays a key role in ensuring a secure and affordable electricity supply for Queenslanders. They work on innovative solutions to improve the flexibility and competitiveness of our portfolio as we transition to a lower carbon future. The roles include engineering, health and safety, environment, production, critical projects, and facilities and asset maintenance.

Business Services

Our Business Services division covers a wide remit, including Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Strategy and Engagement, and People and Culture teams. Our Strategy and Engagement team oversees the development and implementation of our business strategy, along with marketing, communication, community relations and stakeholder engagement. ICT supports each of our business units by simplifying complex technologies and providing solutions to support business operations, planning and decision making. People and Culture is dedicated to attracting, retaining and enabling the best talent to support the delivery of our strategy and vision.

Energy Trading & Commercial Strategy

Our Energy Trading & Commercial Strategy division is responsible for the trading of Stanwell’s generation in the National Electricity Market and the Stanwell Energy retail business activities serving commercial and industrial customers. They are also responsible for the development and delivery of commercial strategies targeted at diversifying revenue streams. This includes developing innovative energy products and facilitating Stanwell’s participation in a low carbon energy future.

Finance, Governance and Commercial

The Finance, Governance and Commercial division is responsible for the internal functions of financial risk and services, business reporting and commercial analysis, secretariat, land and property, legal, internal audit and supply chain management.
