OUR VALUES

Our values – We Care, We Adapt, We Deliver – are the foundation of everything we do. They guide how we work with each other and how we engage with our partners, suppliers and communities. Living these values every day helps us create an environment where our people, our organisation and our stakeholders can thrive.

WE CARE

We demonstrate care by being inclusive and communicating openly. We prioritise physical and psychosocial safety and wellbeing, and consider the environmental and community impacts of our decisions. We support one another’s growth and success, and treat colleagues’ perspectives and contributions with respect.

WE ADAPT

Stanwell adapts and aligns with the energy needs and priorities of Queensland, and we look for people who are ready to grow with us and the changing energy industry. You’ll be encouraged to embrace change, be agile, and bring curiosity and continuous learning into your work. New ideas, diverse viewpoints and open discussion are welcomed. They’re how we move forward, together.

WE DELIVER

We’re focused on results, and we back it with action. We empower our people to be accountable, decisive and committed to quality outcomes. Working as one team, we deliver on our strategic goals and build trust by keeping our promises.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

We are all about creating a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace. A dedicated team oversees our business-wide Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy, supported by an active community of practice and local working groups across our sites.

Looking towards a bright future by 2035.

Our EDI strategy will help us to achieve our long-term goals to better reflect the communities we operate in and focuses on four key areas.

Reconciliation: We acknowledge the traditions and cultures of First Nations people, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community where we live and work. We are committed to a culturally conscious workplace where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are represented across our business.

LGBTQIA+:We are proud to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ communities and are committed to providing a workplace that is safe, respectful and inclusive for all gender identities and sexual orientations . We are committed to a safe and inclusive workplace where all employees feel comfortable to be visible and differences are welcomed.

Disability inclusion: We acknowledge we are the beginning of our Disability Inclusion journey and are committed to building the foundations of inclusion by improving awareness to make our workplace more accessible for all.

Gender equity: We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring that all employees — including women and gender-diverse people — have equitable access to opportunities. We track key metrics, including gender pay equity, and are proud to be a Work180 Endorsed Employer.
