Water use at Tarong power stations

While the recent rain has helped replenish some water supplies throughout the South Burnett, we are continuing to implement and investigate several water saving strategies at Tarong power stations.

In this Energy Explainer video series, Acting General Manager Environment and Assurance, Troy Cook, explains where we source our water for use at Tarong power stations and Meandu Mine from, how we use that water for our operations and day-to-day tasks, and the water saving strategies we have in place to reduce our impact on water availability in the region.

Keep an eye out for part three, which will focus on the water saving strategies being implemented.
