Our Operations division plays a key role in maintaining a secure and affordable energy supply for Queenslanders. Roles at our Stanwell and Tarong power stations offer the chance to work on innovative solutions that strengthen performance and increase flexibility across our generation portfolio.
The roles in this division include mechanical and electrical engineering, health and safety, environment, production, critical projects, and facilities and asset maintenance.
Business Services is the backbone of the business and includes Information and Communication Technology (ICT), People and Culture, and Legal.
Our focus on technology and people in our business means there are more and more roles for analysts, cyber experts, project managers as well as practitioners at all levels in people management.
This division drives corporate strategy and supports the delivery of new energy projects. Teams focus on building strong partnerships, managing Stanwell’s extensive land portfolio, and helping to shape the future workforce through the Future Pathways program. Our communications and stakeholder engagement specialists are also in this division, working with communities and stakeholders across Queensland.
This division leads the development and delivery of new commercial projects, from renewable energy generation and storage to major infrastructure initiatives. Opportunities include roles in project management, commercial advisory, research and development, and more.
Responsible for managing Stanwell’s participation in the National Electricity Market and supporting our commercial and industrial customers through Stanwell Energy Solutions. Career options include trading, analytics, market policy, and customer engagement.
The Finance division includes financial planning, reporting and analysis, procurement and supply chain management. This division includes professional roles for accountants and finance advisors, as well as numerous technical and support roles in these functions. As a Government-Owned Corporation, our financial reporting requirements are robust with a high degree of oversight at all times.
