Stanwell Chief Executive Officer, Richard Van Breda, recently spoke with Enlit Australia Event Director, Michael Silber.
In this interview, Richard, discusses energy transition strategies and the role of hydrogen in power generation.
Stanwell plays a significant role in providing reliable, secure and affordable energy to the people of Queensland and is adapting its portfolio so that it can continue to do so in the energy market of the future.
“We have a key role to play in Queensland’s future energy market. We’re exploring a range of opportunities to evolve and renew our portfolio including developing energy solutions for existing customers and facilitating growth of new industries through a pipeline of commercial projects,” said Richard.
“We are actively seeking strategic partnerships in hydrogen, bioenergy and energy storage and Stanwell is looking to support the creation of a large-scale green hydrogen industry in any way we can,” he said.
