We are proud to announce that Stanwell has successfully been accredited as a White Ribbon workplace. Over the past 18 months, White Ribbon recognised that Stanwell has demonstrated effective leadership, resource allocation, communication, HR policy development and training to create a safer and more respectful workplace.
The program has built on our existing diversity and inclusion initiatives, providing additional tools to help strengthen our culture of respect and gender equality at all levels of the organisation.
Stanwell now joins other companies like Rio Tinto, Virgin Australia, Telstra, iinet, Unity Water and more, who have also demonstrated a whole of organisation commitment to stopping domestic violence.
The program has better positioned Stanwell to respond to and prevent domestic violence, whether it occurs inside or outside the organisation. We are proud to be involved in this important initiative, through supporting those experiencing violence, holding perpetrators to account, supporting all employees to challenge inappropriate behaviour and strengthening gender equality within the broader community.
