Stanwell’s Apprentice and Trainee Program provides structured opportunities for you to develop skills in line with industry training standards.

As a Stanwell Apprentice or Trainee, you will be supported by our team of highly experienced and knowledgeable mentors who want to see you grow as much as you can during the program.

Exciting industry that is continuously evolving

We are exploring further opportunities to evolve and renew our portfolio to include low emission generation in response to changing market and consumer expectations.

Some of the projects we’re investigating and implementing include:

Exploring the feasibility of a hydrogen project in Central Queensland

Assisting renewables projects in getting onto the grid to reduce the state’s emissions in line with the Queensland Government’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050, with an interim target to reduce emissions by 30 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030.
