The National Safety Awards of Excellence this week announced Stanwell as a finalist in the ‘Best Health and Wellbeing Program’ category in the 2018 awards.
Stanwell is one of 35 finalists from across seven categories that have been shortlisted by judges, based on outstanding demonstration of innovation, commitment to safety as a business priority and leading work health and safety standards.
Stanwell’s Health and Wellbeing Program includes free eye and skin checks, annual body composition scans, reimbursements for GP visits, reimbursements for healthy lifestyle expenses (like personal training sessions) and discounted gym memberships.
Other than increasing the general health and safety at Stanwell, which just recognised its safest year on record, the program has had a meaningful impact on the personal lives of many of the company’s team members.
