James Oliver, who began his power industry career at Stanwell Power Station (SPS) in 2003, was recently announced as Site Manager of the highly automated power station, 22 kilometres west of Rockhampton.

Stanwell Corporation today announced that Tim Hogan has been appointed to manage the largest producers of renewable energy in Queensland – Barron Gorge Hydro Power Station, near Cairns, and Kareeya Hydro Power Station, near Tully.  

Stanwell today reiterated its position that it has more than enough competitive cost coal to supply Tarong’s power stations from its adjacent Meandu Mine until the end of their economic lives.
