Stanwell’s response to COVID-19

17 March 2020

Stanwell is actively monitoring the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) situation and we are undertaking ongoing reviews to determine if additional actions or measures are needed.

A significant amount of preparedness activity has taken place over the past few weeks, and there has been a concentrated effort across Stanwell’s sites to ensure we can continue to deliver a reliable source of energy to Queenslanders.

Our response measures are aligned with the advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health, Queensland Health and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

We are providing regular updates to our employees. We have encouraged our people to seek out advice from the Queensland Health website so that they can make informed decisions on their wellbeing.

At present, there is no need for our employees to vary their day-to-day routine, other than to take extra care to ensure they are maintaining good personal hygiene and following advice to remain at home if they are unwell or experiencing symptoms such as sore throat, cough or fever.

At Stanwell, our highest priority is the health and wellbeing of our people, their families and our communities.

Please note, access for non-essential visitors is restricted at our sites.
